The origin of Onboarding USA​

The idea for Onboarding USA came from a personal experience. While preparing the US expansion for a Belgian tech company in my previous role as CCO, I explored several states, with a focus on the automotive sector. Detroit, of course, was on the list. But South Carolina was also gaining ground.
What struck me was how little people spoke about the Southeast’s growing importance. Despite all the research and advice, this regional shift was barely mentioned.
That moment was eye-opening: if even a well-informed company could miss something so crucial, what about others?
It became clear there was a gap, not in data, but in perspective, relevance, and real-world support.
That is why we created Onboarding USA: to help European businesses discover the right regions, meet the right people, and avoid blind spots that could cost them time, energy, and opportunity.
